President
Jennifer Carbaugh is serving a 2-year term, starting in July 2025. Jennifer has been a dedicated member of the Peekskill community for nearly 15 years, raising her three sons in the district from Woodside Elementary through Peekskill High School. Jennifer is passionate about building strong school communities through engaging events, meaningful fundraisers, and collaborative partnerships with the district. She believes the PTO plays a vital role in connecting families and schools, and she is eager to continue strengthening those relationships.
Vice President
Sandra Walton is serving a 2-year term, starting in July 2024. Sandra has been an active member of the PTO since 2016, serving in roles such as Co-Chair of the Special Events Committee, Family Resource Center Liasion, and Class Parent. Her creativity, strong organizational skills, and problem-solving mindset make her an invaluable asset to every event and initiative. Sandra’s consistent presence at school functions reflects her deep commitment to supporting students, families, and the Peekskill community.
Treasurer
Yolanda Cruikshank is serving a 2-year term, starting in July 2024. Yolanda has been an active member of the PTO since 2021, contributing as as a Spanish translator, Communications Committee member, and frequent school event volunteer. As a parent of two children in the district, she brings valuable skills in office software and professional experience as a notary. Yolanda is dedicated to fostering inclusive communication and meaningful engagement for all families in the district.
Secretary
Evelisse Mercado is serving a 2-year term, starting July 2025. Evelisse is a proud Peekskill High School alum, dedicated educator, and mother of two young children, one of whom is in the district. With over a decade of experience in elementary education and a strong passion for family engagement, she brings valuable insight and energy to her role as PTO Secretary. Evelisse is committed to strengthening home-school partnerships through clear communication, organized collaboration, and inclusive community involvement.
The PTO holds officer elections annually at our June general meeting. Our officers serve two-year terms, starting July 1st of their election year.
