We are proud to announce that as of September 2015, we will no longer operate as separate, individual school-based organizations, but instead as a single unified district-wide Parent-Teacher-Organization!
This new format will enable the PTO to streamline our fundraising efforts, harness the talents of parents across the district, and foster greater continuity as our children progress through the Peekskill school system.
We now have one set of officers for the entire district and the functions of the organization will take place through district-wide committees.
Our functional committees will focus on the following areas:
- Advocacy
- Cultural Enrichment/Field Trips
- Finance
- Fundraising
- Special Events
- Volunteer Coordination/Class Parents
- Website/Communications
Monthly general meetings will be open to parents, teachers and all interested members of the community. Meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of the month in the Ford Auditorium in the Administration Building at 6:30pm.
Our first general PTO meeting will be on October 21st. We encourage all parents and faculty to attend and to take an active role in our school community!

Note: During our transitional year of 2015/2016, the Woodside/Uriah Hill PTO will serve as our fiscal agent until we officially change our name and file new paperwork as the Peekskill CSD PTO. The Woodside/Uriah Hill PTO is a registered 501(c)3 and all donations are tax deductible.
